Toddler-Proof Doorknob Cover

Toddler-Proof Doorknob Cover

This cover works because it slips & turns around the knob. An adult or older child can squeeze hard enough to stop it from slipping and open the door. A baby or toddler isn’t strong enough to do this. In my house, these work better than the store bought plastic covers, which my children just pry apart so they come off the knob.

Requires familiarity with knitting in the round using dpn’s or magic loop.

Thanks for the pattern! My local groups knits and crochets for pregnant girls and women.

Very clever-my grandson is about to walk and is already a busy bee. These will be a great use of little leftover balls of yarn. Thanks
